PART THREE

Office plaything

I awake to light streaming through the curtains and onto my bed. Squinting, I roll over and check the time and roll my eyes when I see it is six thirty. Stupid body clock, I could have slept for another thirty minutes before the alarm went off. I stretch and feel the loneliness of being in my own bed after spending the last day with Lexa, or should I say Mistress?

Unfortunately, I had to return home or there is no way I could have gotten any writing done or had any sleep last night. My stomach clenches as I recall the predatory, yet alluring way Lexa looked at me as she left me at the door last night after an exceptionally steamy kiss. I very nearly relented and invited her in. I roll out of bed, and I feel the muscles in my legs and stomach protest. If I keep this level of frequency up with Lexa, I will be able to cancel that gym membership. I smile, I kind of like the idea of Lexa as my personal trainer.

My phone chirps and I swipe it open to find a message from Lexa.

Lexa: Good morning Beautiful. How did you sleep?

I smile down at my phone and type back: Good morning. I slept well. You?

Lexa: I am pleased you are well rested. I had a restless night with far too much energy. I shall see you in the office shortly. Do not forget to have breakfast. <3

Me: See you soon!

I drop my phone on the bedside table and drag myself to the kitchen and turn on the kettle as I start preparing breakfast. I drop the fruit loaf in the toaster and grab the yogurt from the fridge, dishing out a healthy serving into a bowl on the bench. I smile thinking of how pleased Lexa will be knowing I made myself such a good breakfast. I head back to the bedroom and slip into a skirt and nice top. It is cold this time of the year, but the looks I get from Lexa are worth the slight chill on the way to and from work. The office is always warm and I have no problem being comfortable in a skirt there. I check over my outfit one last time, grab my keys and head for the door. I smile as I decide to learn how to use the coffee machine at work today, so I don’t need to leave so early tomorrow.

When I arrive in the office with a cinnamon cappuccino in hand, I set about turning the computer on and checking the emails from yesterday. Nothing important seems to have happened and I lift the phone and call Mr. Nathanial Strong to double check he will be attending his meeting at nine am with Miss Woods. The woman on the phone assures me he is on his way and will arrive on time. Just as I return the phone to its place on the desk Lexa walks in wearing a stunning blue suit and crisp white shirt.
